A South Tyneside Park, which was soft landscaped by Sustain Landscapes Ltd, was officially opened on 26^th November by Dr Julia Bradbury. The television presenter said “I think it’s absolutely fantastic and very exciting that South Shields has concentrated on creating a green space in the middle of all this redevelopment. Everybody now knows that green spaces are vital to us as human beings – they’re good for our mental wellbeing, they’re good for our state of mind and they’re good for our health. I’m thrilled, and I think it looks stunning.”

The Park, which will be maintained by Sustain Landscapes for 5 years, is proving to be popular both with visitors arriving on the Shields ferry and as a green space for enjoyment by the local community.
