Sustain Landscapes have put the finishing touches to Durham University’s £6.7M investment in the Graham Sports Centre at Maiden Castle. The sports centre along with the University’s Queens Campus at Stockton will host the Sri Lankan Olympic Team prior to the commencement of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The works at the University Sports Centre included extending and refurbishing the original centre and construction of a new boathouse. Sustain Landscapes were contracted to carry out the soft landscaping to complete the scheme.
Sustain Landscapes have carried out a series of schemes at the University in the last 18 months which have included soft landscaping works at John Snow College, Queens Campus, Stockton, hard landscaping works at JCR Queens College, Stockton and soft landscaping works on the £48M Durham University Gateway Scheme on Stockton Road in Durham.
